What do I do if my tire pressure light comes on?

If theTire Pressurelight comes on in red the tire has rapidly deflated. Please bring your car to a stop and check the tires.

If the light comes on in yellow the pressures are off 10% or more since being initialized, Punctures are not indicated. Keep in mind that when the temperature drops suddenly the pressures will decrease which can also cause the light to come on. Video

What if my car needs to get towed in?

First alert roadside by calling 1.800.332.4269 or call SORA's Towing, our recommended vendor, for other towing incidents. Please also call The BMW Store to allow us ample time to prepare for the arrival of your vehicle.

When can I get my car washed?

We hold our free car wash every Saturday. The hours are 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. We have a crew of about 15 young men who will wash your BMWs by hand, and also vacuum the inside. What most of our customers want is to get the exterior cleaned and the brake dust off their wheels!

It is a good time to either wait in our customer waiting area and relax with coffee or pastries and read the paper or perhaps take a trip through our sales departments and check out some newer models.

Where can I store my tires when they are not in season?

Here at The BMW Store we offer you the option of having your Seasonal tires stored for $150.00 per year. The fee includes storage and swapping out your tires twice during the season. You must renew your contract yearly to maintain the storage agreement. This is only for tires and wheels. Should you have tires only the fee is $70.00 per year and you are responsible for labor charges to mount and dismount tires.

What can I do in the waiting area while my BMW is in for service?

We have many activities for you while you wait:

  • WiFi for you to be able to continue to do your on-line work.
  • Refreshments: we have Starbucks Coffee, hot chocolate, tea, soft drinks, water, and ever morning we have pastries.
  • We also have a “Sweets” counter-loaded will all kinds of good things to munch on.
  • DVD players with a nice selection of movies.
  • Of course, we have the daily papers, including USA Today and also a selection of local magazines as well.

What is fast service?

The BMW Store is proud to be a provider of BMWs Fast Service. The purpose of this program is to get our customers in and out of the store faster than ever. The goal of the Fast Service Team is for customers to not have to wait to get in for service for minor maintenance. The services which can be offered with fast service are:

  • Oil Service or Oil & Filter Change
  • Coolant Flush
  • Air Filter Replacement
  • Glass Repair from BMW
  • Brake Warning Light Diagnosis
  • Brake Pad Replacement
  • Brake Fluid Flush

Did you know we provided express pick-up?

To speed up the pick-up process after your car has been completed for service, we ask you call 513.648.2690 (648-BMW0) and enter your tag number, 20-30 minutes before arriving to pick up your vehicle.

May I drive a Courtesy Vehicle when my BMW is in for service?

There are many options of Alternative Transportation.

Shuttles can be done within 30 minutes one way from the dealership. Depending on the service being preformed we cannot always promise the vehicle back the same day.

If you need a Courtesy Vehicle we have a limited supply of BMW’s and Mazda’s available. There is a waiting period of several weeks to get these vehicles.

Courtesy Car Policy

  • You must be OVER the age of 21.
  • There is a gas fee of .15 cents per mile or you may refill the tank.
  • We will need a pre authorize on your credit card for $25, which will be removed once you return the vehicle.
  • You will need to bring in your driver’s licenses, insurance card and credit card.
  • When returning your Courtesy Car pull right into the Service drive as you dropped off your BMW for service.
  • Make Sure you retrieve all of your belongings out of the vehicle.
  • REMEMBER you have 12 hours from the time your Service Advisor will call and tell you your car is completed to return the Courtesy Car or there will be an additional charge.

How about a Valet Service!? We can pick your BMW up at home or work and deliver it to you when the work is finished. We do valets on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. There are items that we will not be able to valet your vehicle for flat tire, engine malfunction and any safety drivability issue. In these cases we might request for you to call BMW Roadside.

How do I pair my phone with my BMW?

This is a complicated process. Please see the portion of your owner’s manual that discusses or call and schedule a short appointment and one of our service advisors will be happy to help.

What happens if I lock my BMW when I get out to pump gas?

As a safety feature, if you lock your BMW, your BMW gas door will be locked shut as well. You must unlock the BMW in order to open your gas door.

What is the meaning of the roundel?

We are very proud of the Roundel - it is universally recognized and represents the quality, the power and the esteem of the Ultimate Driving Machine.

There are two theories on the design of the Roundel:

  • During the early years of its history, BMW manufactured engines for airplanes. The circular blue and white roundel is portrayed by BMW as the movement of an aircraft propeller, to signify the white blades cutting through the blue sky.
  • Coincidentally, blue and white also were the colors of the Free State of Bavaria. It is felt by many that the Roundel represents not the aviation history, but the Bavarian flag.

The Roundel has changed many times over the years. Below are some of the more extreme makeovers.

What if I receive a survey from BMW?

  • You might have already received one of our Customer Satisfaction Surveys via e-mail after your purchasing experience in either our new or pre-owned department.
  • In service we like to send you a survey via e-mail so that you can rate us on your service experience each and every time that you come in for service. Our reasoning is that we want each visit here to be better than the last so your feedback on the service that we provide to you is our “Report Card”.
  • We hope that you respond to the customer experience survey. This is our "report card" and we work hard every day to make sure that your sales and service experiences are more than satisfactory.

May I drop my BMW off at night if I have early service the next day?

We do have a night drop box for you to place your keys in. Please fill out the envelope located inside the box, leave your keys in that drop box and park your BMW out front of our service drive.
